About Our Founder

Tammy Arceneaux (ar·seh·no) is an award-winning graphic designer, who always had a passion for the creative gift she was blessed with. Winning numerous art awards beginning in elementary school and all through her career, it was only a matter of time before she branched out on her own. It was a "vision" destined to come true.

Tammy had an amazing and diverse career, which spanned over 15 years as an art director/graphic designer. She had gained not only skills and knowledge, but had earned the respect of employer's and colleagues alike. Anxious to make her "vision" come true, Tammy set out on her own and formed Visions Graphics Studio in 2005.

Slowly but surely business was growing and even a few awards were coming in. A promising future was now within reach. Life should have been good. She should have been happy. Something was missing. It always had been.

Now in Her Own Words, Tammy's Story . . .

VisionsXpressed has been in the making for my entire life, and without even knowing. However, God knew!

God blessed me with the talent of art and creativity; the most wonderful, loving, and supportive parents; an amazing, talented, awe-inspiring daughter; and a wonderful career in graphic design. However, my life has included poor choices, hardships, loneliness, and an unexplainable emptiness. I've always believed in God, but yet I wasn't grateful in all things.

Over the years, God led me to the husband of my dreams, a new son and daughter, my own graphic design business, Visions Graphics Studio, and made me an award-winning graphic designer. After having the opportunity to design CD art for a Christian rock band, and their Ministry logo, I felt the need to do more for the Lord with my gift. I had managed to brush off His calling in the past, but that was soon to change.

In 2006, I developed a huge mass seemingly overnight. I kept this a secret from my husband and family thinking that it would just go away. Instead, it kept growing. For nearly two months, I kept this secret as I did internet research and became fearful that it could well be cancer. Instead of turning to God, all I did was cry and became distant. God kept speaking to me, but still I refused to listen. The bottom finally dropped out on my emotional state and I opened my ears and heart to God. He planted the seed and ideas for another company, in addition to Visions Graphics Studio, which was to be called VisionsXpressed. I not only listened, but began turning my fears over to Him as I became absorbed in drawing and designing His products. With surgery, the tumor proved to be benign. God had given me a second chance at life. I couldn't ignore His calling any longer. I am now grateful for all of God's love and blessings in all situations. A bright and shiny future is ahead, and I look forward to sharing the creative gift that God has given me with you.

VisionsXpressed is very dear to my heart. Although the road was at times bumpy, God held my hand and has guided me. This has been an amazing adventure, filled with the awe and wonder of God's power and love, plus inspiring and meaningful new friendships! This journey has indeed been a true blessing in my life.
